Language Arts - End of Year SMARTR Outcome

  • By the end of the 2021-2022 school year, students at Washington Mill in grades 3-6 will achieve 88% or higher on the Reading SOL. In grades K-2, 75% of the students will reach the end of year DRA2 benchmark for the year.

Strategy 1

  • The students will participate in literacy workshop with an emphasis on small group instruction.


Math - End of Year SMARTR Outcome

  • By the end of the 2021-2022 school year, students at Washington Mill in grades 3-6 will achieve 87% or higher on the Math SOL. In grades K-2, 75% of the students will be on or above grade level on the MRA.

  • The students will participate in high quality math tasks.

Strategy 2

  • The students will participate in math workshop.

Science - End of Year SMARTR Outcome

  • By the end of the 2021-2022 school year, 5th grade students at Washington Mill will achieve 70% or higher on the Science SOL.

  • The students will complete all of the grade level lessons with a focus on concept emphases (big ideas).

  • The students will consistently engage in experiments in science lab that align to content taught in the general education classroom.

Students with Disabilities, Reading - End of Year SMARTR Outcome

  • By the end of the 2021-2022 school year, we will increase the pass rate for our students with disabilities from 73% to 75% on the Reading SOL.

Strategy 1

  • Students with disabilities will have increased access to tier 1 reading instruction.

Students with Disabilities, Math - End of Year SMARTR Outcome

  • By the end of the 2021-2022 school year, we will increase the pass rate for our students with disabilities from 67% to 70% on Math SOL.

Strategy 1

  • Students with disabilities will have increased access to tier 1 math instruction.

  • By the end of the 2021-2022 school year, 100% of emerging and developing students will grow to the next level on the collaborator rubric.
