Through the Global Exchange Teacher Program, Washington Mill hosts five exchange teachers who bring culturally responsive teaching methods into our classrooms. These teachers help enrich our learning environment by aligning with our strategic pillars and offering students diverse perspectives, enhancing their global awareness and cultural competency. They bring experience, energy, and a growth mindset to the WMES family. 
We are glad to have Ms Hinds (2nd grade from Barbados), Mr. Kyalo (2nd grade from Kenya), Mr. Sinclair (4th grade from Jamiaca), Ms Henry (5th grade from Jamaica) and Ms. Howell (5th grade from Jamaica).
